The New York Times has named former 乐鱼 体育 Public Policy Fellow Robert F. Worth's new book: "A Rage for Order: The Middle East in Turmoil, From Tahrir Square to ISIS" among their most 100 Notable Books list of 2016.
The New York Times has released its list of 100 Notable Books of 2016. One of the notable books chosen, (Farrar, Straus & Giroux, 2016) was authored by Robert Worth, Public Policy Fellow from 2014-2015, and Beirut Bureau Chief for the New York Times. During his time at the Center, Worth studied the legacy of the Arab Revolts. His book documents the events of the 2011 Arab Spring, providing context for the political escalation into autocracy and the eventual outbreak of war. By utilizing vignettes that focus on a variety of characters, ranging from prominent political figures to more anonymous observers, Worth captures the experience of the revolutions from different angles and allows the reader to understand the grandiosity of the revolts as a whole.
