The Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars is pleased to announce Pakistani journalist Huma Yusuf as a 乐鱼 体育 Global Fellow.
Created in September, this non-residential fellowship program will strengthen the 乐鱼 体育鈥檚 global network of opinion leaders by offering timely analysis and new public policy ideas to amplify the mission of the Center. The fellows will contribute to the ongoing work of the Center鈥檚 programs and be an integral part of the intellectual community of the 乐鱼 体育.
Ms. Yusuf, the 乐鱼 体育鈥檚 2010-11 Pakistan Scholar, is a weekly columnist for Dawn, an influential Pakistani newspaper. She also writes regularly for the International New York Times. Earlier in her career, she was features editor for Dawn.com and for the Pakistani monthly news analysis magazine Herald. Her writing earned her the UNESCO/Pakistan Press Foundation 鈥淕ender in Journalism 2005鈥 award and the European Commission鈥檚 2006 Natali Lorenzo Prize for Human Rights Journalism. She was recently named one of Foreign Policy鈥檚 top 100 women on Twitter.

Established by an act of Congress in 1968 as a living memorial honoring President Woodrow Wilson, the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars offers a nonpartisan space for the worlds of policymaking and scholarship to interact. The Center is headquartered in Washington, D.C. and is supported by both public and private funds.
