An accomplished industrial engineer and business leader, he has driven high-impact transformations across mining, oil & gas, and banking over three decades. As Managing Director & CEO of Allkem Ltd (formerly Orocobre) from 2018 to 2024, he oversaw the Orocobre-Galaxy Resources merger and later the Allkem-Livent merger, creating Arcadium Lithium鈥攖he world鈥檚 third-largest lithium producer. Before that, he expanded Petr贸leos Sudamericanos Energy into Ecuador, Colombia, and Argentina, and as CFO of GeoPark, he led its listing on the London Stock Exchange and regional growth. Earlier, he spent 12 years at Citigroup in senior roles, and began his career as an engineer at Siderca (Techint). He also founded Continente Siete, an algorithm workshop acquired by Accenture, and has taught at ITBA since 2001, where he now serves as President of the Board. Throughout his career, he has maintained active community involvement, including leadership roles at CEADS, St. Hilda鈥檚 College, and Fundaci贸n Protagonizar.
