Patricia Men茅ndez Camb贸 is the General Counsel of I Squared Capital and a member of their Operating Committee. Previously, Patricia was the Managing Partner and Deputy General Counsel of SoftBank Group International and Board Member and General Counsel of the SoftBank Latin America Fund and SB Opportunity Fund. Patricia was also a member of the Board of Directors and the Investment Committee of SBLA, a registered investment advisor.
Prior to joining SoftBank, Patricia was the Vice Chair of Greenberg Traurig and a member of the Executive Committee.
Patricia previously served as Subdirector General for Telefonica S.A. She was a member of the Board of Directors and General Counsel to several of Telefonica鈥檚 global new technology business.
Patricia received the 鈥淰isionary Leader of the Year鈥 Award at the 2018 BRAVO Business Awards and 鈥淟eader in the Women in the Profession Program鈥 at the 2022 Cyrus R. Vance Center for International Justice. Additionally, the National Law Journal has recognized Patricia as one of the "100 Most Influential Lawyers in America," one of the "Top 40 under 40" attorneys, one of the 鈥50 Most Influential Women Lawyers in America,鈥 and one of the 鈥50 Most Influential Minority Lawyers in America.鈥 She was also recognized by Chambers Latin America for 鈥淥utstanding Contribution to the Legal Profession鈥 and by Chambers USA Women in Law for 鈥淥utstanding Contribution to Gender Diversity,鈥.
Patricia currently serves as an Independent Director for public and private boards. She is also a member of several boards including, the Latam Strategic Advisory Board of Ita煤 Unibanco, the Advisory Board of the Woodrow 乐鱼 体育/Latin American Program, the Americas Society/Council of the Americas where she was a Cofounder of the COA Women鈥檚 Hemisphere Network, the Board of Advisors for the University of Pennsylvania Law School and a member of the Board of Trustees for The University of Miami. Patricia is a Young Global Leader Alumnus of The World Economic Forum.
