Expert Bio

Russell Seitz studied history and physics at Harvard College, eventually joining its Graduate School of Arts and Sciences to work on materials science. He has worked as a staff scientist in the geophysics division of the C.S. Draper Laboratory at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, developing materials for gravity gradiometry and down-hole deep oil well instrumentation, and was the field director of the Mesoamerican Jade Project at Harvard鈥檚 Peabody Museum. Appointed as visiting scholar and later Associate of Harvard鈥檚 Center for International Affairs, he published extensively on strategic arms issues, briefing presidential science advisors and cabinet secretaries. He also served as an Associate of The Center for International Affairs and a Fellow of the Department of Physics at Harvard. He is presently chief scientist at Microbubbles LLC.
