Final Report: Brazil-US Dialogue on Sustainability and Climate Change
Given the Amazon鈥檚 critical role in capping global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius, the 乐鱼 体育 Brazil Institute launched the Brazil-US Dialogue on Sustainability and Climate Change in partnership with Uma Concerta莽茫o Pela Amaz么nia.
The Final Report from the Dialogue鈥檚 four sessions produced a series of policy recommendations to combat deforestation and generate sustainable modes of employment and production in the Brazilian Amazon in the areas of: (1) Carbon emissions reductions; (2) Financing tropical forest protection; (3) Sustainable agriculture; and (4) Indigenous partnerships.
