脕lvaro de Garay Arellano was Director of EGADE Business School in Mexico City. 脕lvaro is an independent Board Member of the Royal Bank of Scotland in Mexico and of the Technical Committee of the Macquarie Mexico Real Estate Management Trust Fund. He has served in senior leadership position in the international financial services sector, including as, Risk and Compliance Director in the Asset Management Division of Citigroup Latin America, Vice President of Planning and Marketing in Citibank Mexico and Divisional Director of Credit Analysis and Strategic Planning in GBM-Atlantic Group. He also served as Director of Planning in Tel茅fonos de M茅xico and as Managing Partner of the consulting firm BIE Consultants. 脕lvaro received his degree in Economics from the Universidad Nacional Aut贸noma de M茅xico and holds a Ph.D. from the University of Aston in Birmingham, UK.
