Jewellord (Jojo) Nem Singh is a Principal Research Fellow in the School of Global Studies, University of Sussex, UK. He is the Principal Investigator of a European Research Council (ERC) Starting Grant for his five-year research project . Jojo held two highly prestigious research fellowships, the  at the Freie Universitëit Berlin (FUB) in 2017 and the   at the University of Tokyo in 2016. His most recent publication includes Business of the State: Why State Ownership Matters for Resource Governance (2024, Oxford University Press) and Handbook on Resource Nationalism (Forthcoming, Edward Elgar Publishers). Apart from his academic work, he served as Consultant for various organizations, including UNDP Brussels, UNRISD in Geneva, and Publish What You Pay in London.
