Kevin P. Gallagher is a Professor of global development policy at Boston University, where he directs the Global Development Policy Center (GDP Center). The Center鈥檚 mission is to advance policy relevant research on financial stability, human well-being, and environmental sustainability across the globe. He is the author of a number of books, most recently The China Triangle: Latin America鈥檚 China Boom and the Fate of the Washington Consensus. Dr. Gallagher served on the U.S. Department of State鈥檚 Investment Subcommittee of the Advisory Committee on International Economic Policy and the International Investment Division of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development. He has served as a visiting or adjunct professor at the Paul Nitze School for Advanced International Studies, Johns Hopkins University, the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University, the Colegio de M茅xico, Tsinghua University in China, and the Center for State and Society in Argentina. He holds a B.A. from Northeastern University, Boston, and a Master鈥檚 and Ph.D. from Tufts University.
