Krisztian Katona is Vice President of Global Competition and Regulatory Policy at the Computer and Communications Industry Association (CCIA) in Washington, DC, where he leads CCIA鈥檚 U.S. and international antitrust and regulatory strategy and advocacy. He previously served at the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) for fifteen years, including as Counsel for International Antitrust and as an attorney in the agency鈥檚 Technology Enforcement Division. In 2019, he served as a senior FTC advisor at CADE, the Brazilian antitrust agency. Prior to the FTC, he worked on antitrust and competition matters at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP. He is an adjunct professor at Georgetown University Law Center, serves on the governing Council of the American Bar Association鈥檚 Antitrust Law Section, as a Non-Governmental Advisor to the International Competition Network, and as a Special Advisor to the Business at OECD鈥檚 Competition Committee. He holds law degrees from the University of Virginia School of Law, the University of Konstanz (Germany), Paris II Panth茅on-Assas University (France), and ELTE University (Hungary).
