Nicholas Blanford is a Beirut-based nonresident senior fellow with the Atlantic Council鈥檚 Middle East programs. He is the author of Killing Mr. Lebanon: The Assassination of Rafik Hariri and Its Impact on the Middle East (2006) and Warriors of God: Inside Hezbollah鈥檚 Thirty-Year Struggle against Israel (2011).
