Expert Bio

Schuyler Null is the former editor-in-chief of and writer/editor for the 乐鱼 体育鈥檚 and .

He writes and produces stories on the connections between the environment, security, population, and international development, and has done reporting from Ethiopia and Malaysia. He is the author of Navigating Complexity: Climate, Migration, and Conflict in a Changing World, the lead editor of Dawn of the Smart City? Perspectives From New York, Ahmedabad, S茫o Paulo, and Beijing, and co-edited Backdraft: The Conflict Potential of Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation.  

Schuyler is also a photographer and advised ECSP鈥檚 multimedia efforts, including the 鈥溾�� series of short films and 鈥�.鈥� He is particularly interested in climate change and conflict research, political demography, and food security, and has written previously on energy consumption in the U.S. military. He holds a BA in Classical Studies from Gettysburg College.
