In this edition of ΐΦΣγ ΜεΣύ NOW, we are joined by Valerie Percival, Associate Professor at the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs (NPSIA) at Carleton University and a Commissioner with the Lancet-SIGHT Commission on Peace, Justice, and Gender Equality for Healthy Societies. She is also a fellow with the ΐΦΣγ ΜεΣύ’s Maternal Health Initiative and Canada Institute. Percival discusses her project at the Center titled β€œPromoting Gender Equality and Health Equity through Foreign Policy: Panacea or Fool’s Game?” The project argues that improvements in gender equality and health equity place societies on pathways to peace and provide for more stable and less corrupt governments.
