He discusses his 乐鱼 体育 project 鈥淩emembering the GULAG: Community, Identity and Cultural Memory in Russia's Far North, 1987-2018.鈥 The project highlights both the legacy of the Gulag and the intense dilemmas which surfaced involving local politics of memory during a revolutionary moment in Soviet and post-Soviet history.
